Stockland Martel's limited-edition photo annuals

Each year, the photo agency Stockland Martel produces a limited-edition collectible photo annual, called SMart Book, that showcases its photographers' work. It's a high-end product—designed by the firm Design MW and printed in Germany—that takes roughly six months to produce. I've been the copywriter on a number of the SMart Books, including the 2011 edition, which was honored by PDN in its Photo Annual 2011in the category of Corporate Design/Photo Products.

I write all of the eblasts for Stockland Martel. My job is to come up with the concept or story, and to write the text. Sometimes that also means choosing the photos, which makes the process that much more fun. Here are some recent ones. Click on them for a larger view.
